Maggie Ardiente (she/her) is the Director of Development at PFLAG National, the first and largest organization for LGBTQ+ people and their families and allies. She has nearly 15 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and communications, and has appeared in national media such as NPR, Fox News, Washington Post, and Huffington Post. Maggie previously served as Director of Development & Communications for the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty and Director of Development & Communications at the American Humanist Association, where she worked for 12 years since starting as an intern for the Humanist magazine. Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Maggie graduated cum laude from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals
