Freedom From Religion Foundation

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) is a national association of freethinkers (atheists and agnostics) working as a state/church watchdog to keep religion out of government and out of social policy. FFRF is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit founded in 1978, now with more than 35,000 current members. FFRF has a legal team of 10 attorneys, offering at no cost to the public our services to end state/church entanglements when possible, a D.C.-based director of governmental affairs, and a Strategic Response Team. Members receive FFRF’s newspaper, Freethought Today, published 10 times a year, plus financial information. FFRF media include the weekly Freethought Radio/podcast, Ask an Atheist on Facebook Live, and “Freethought Matters,” a weekly TV program currently airing except in summer in 13 cities and on YouTube. FFRF engages in educational advertising, including billboards, to promote freethought and improve the public image of nonbelievers.
