Donald Trump has made a number of statements about vaccines. On March 28, 2014, Trump tweeted:
“Healthy young child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, doesn’t feel good and changes – AUTISM. Many such cases!”
On April 26, 2019, in an interview with CNN, Trump stated,
“[Kids] have to get the shots. The vaccinations are so important. This is really going around now. They have to get their shots.”
He has not spoken directly about religious exemptions.
