On March 10, 2019 Delaney made a statement on reproductive rights at a CNN Town Hall in Austin, Texas.
“I’m pro-choice, and I completely support a woman’s decision to make her own reproductive decisions about her own body. I don’t struggle with that as a matter of public policy.”
In addition, on June 13, 2019, on the TV show The Talk he commented on the Hyde Amendment, which restricts the use of federal funds to pay for abortion, saying:
“We should repeal the Hyde Amendment. I’m pro-choice and if the Hyde Amendment exists, women can’t get the health care they need.”
