A Susquehanna Valley Ethical Society spent the last week celebrating the Secular Week of Action and members delivered more than two dozen bags of stuffed animals to children in foster care and Haven Ministry.
SVES President Pattie Arduni said the Week of Action from April 26 to May 2 coincided with the federal government’s endorsement of the National Day of Prayer today. The week of Action is a call to secular communities across the country to put their secular values into action, she said.
