We are proud to share that the Secular Coalition for America has been a driving force behind three regional leadership summits for secular organizers in March 2019, including one that took place last weekend in Southern California. The purpose of the summits is to convene secular organizers to network, share best practices, learn new skills, and work toward a united, regional agenda.
Religiously unaffiliated Americans are the largest and fastest growing religious demographic in the United States. We believe that to harness the power of our constituency, we must invest in local grassroots organizers and empower them to build strong regional networks. These are the boots on the ground who will turn the tide back toward the secular government our founding fathers envisioned when they wrote the First Amendment.
