The Office of Personnel Management, in partnership with the White House Faith Office, has released a memorandum on "Religious Expression in the Federal Workplace." The memo is filled with policies that support religious coercion and proselytizing in the workplace, which would ultimately allow harassment towards nonreligious employees. The guidance fails to support atheist, agnostic, humanist, spiritual, and all other religiously unaffiliated workers.
SCA and our coalition members have written to OPM Director Scott Kupor demanding that the memo be rescinded.
