Dear Friends,
On behalf of staff and board of directors at the Secular Coalition for America, I want to express our gratitude for everything you have done to support our work. When I look back at all we have accomplished this past year, I am reminded how much our advocacy here in Washington depends on the generosity and dedication of grassroots supporters like you. Looking ahead to the opportunities and challenges of 2022, I am grateful to know that we can count on you to stand with us as we continue to fight for our shared secular values.
As we come together for Thanksgiving this year, it is my hope that Americans will enjoy treasured traditions and reconnect with friends and family, but also follow the safety guidelines issued by the CDC for social gatherings during the holidays. By following the science, and doing our part, we can all save lives and help end this pandemic.
I want to thank you again for your commitment to defending the wall of separation between religion and government, and for everything you’ve done to help preserve the foundation on which all our freedoms depend. This Thanksgiving, I am thankful to know that I can count on your continued support.
Wishing you and yours a healthy and happy Thanksgiving.
With gratitude,
Debbie Allen
Executive Director
Secular Coalition for America
P.S. Tuesday, November 30 is #GivingTuesday, a global holiday dedicated to giving back. As the year comes to a close and the giving season begins, we hope you will consider giving the gift of secularism this holiday season. You can learn about the many opportunities to support our work here.
