Have faith: Vaccination works | Philadelphia Inquirer

In a recent editorial, the Philadelphia Inquirer reinforced the importance of vaccination and called for the end of religious exemptions.

The paper called for both Pennsylvania and New Jersey to shift their laws to ensure medical concerns are the only way to receive an exemption from vaccination.

Religious feelings about vaccination, however deeply felt, have no place in public-health policy, which quite rightly places faith in medicine, not divine intervention.
