Although the Inslee campaign has not made any statements on conversion therapy, on March 28, 2018, Inslee signed a law banning conversion therapy in the state of Washington. On the occasion he called conversion therapy abuse and said:
“We are today prohibiting the abuse of our children. We have always believed in civil rights in our state. We believe in tolerance for all.”
