Nicole Chebili

Advocacy Fellow

Nicole Chebili is a summer fellow for the Secular Coalition for America passionate about social equality and political activism. She is currently a second year student at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville studying Government and Philosophy.
She developed an interest in progressive politics at a young age having grown up minutes from Washington, D.C. and seeing social advocacy groups make headway in her hometown of Vienna, Virginia. She has extensive political experience interning in local government offices, electoral campaigns, and on Capitol Hill. Nicole’s advocacy work typically focuses on issues of discrimination and defending the separation of church and state.
In her free time, Nicole teaches speech and debate to middle school students, writes for her school newspaper, and is a committee chair on her class council. She plans to attend law school in the future to continue advocating for the rights and perspectives of non-theists, LGBTQ+ individuals, and women.
