Update: The regulations were formally proposed by the Health and Human Services Department. The Secular Coalition and our issue allies will be sending comments to the Federal Register regarding these regulations.

On July 10, 2008 the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations voted to continue funding for the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program. This program allows parents in the District of Columbia to send their children to religious schools with tuition vouchers funded by American taxpayers.
