Senate Kills Extension of Funding for Religious Schools

An amendment by Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) to extend the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program for another year failed by a vote of 39-58. The Secular Coalition for America worked tirelessly with our issue allies to defeat this amendment.
