The Secular Coalition for Colorado
Lunch with Richard Dawkins!
Professor Richard Dawkins will meet with a small group of lucky people for an intimate lunch in Colorado this Tuesday! Tickets for this event will be extremely limited and priced accordingly. Proceeds will benefit the Secular Coalition for Colorado.
This will not be an event where the speaker stands apart from the audience. In addition to sharing his experience and ideas on the subject of church/state separation, Professor Dawkins is interested in conversing with participants in order to gain a better understanding of the political landscape in this country and the hurdles we face. The small number of guests attending this lunch will take an active part in this conversation with Professor Dawkins as we sit and break bread together.

Murray Wallace serves as the Co-Chair of the Executive Board of the Secular Coalition for Colorado. Murray holds an Associates of Science from Front Range Community College. He studied Zoology at Colorado State University, and Evolutionary and Ecological Biology and Physics at the University of Colorado. He has worked as a Veterinary Technician with Banfield Veterinary Hospital and worked his way up to the top ranks of technicians in his hospital. Murray was raised Christian, but within the last 10 years became more politically active, ago and has been a secular supporter since shortly after. In his spare time, he enjoys studying topics ranging from physics to economics.
Ben Donahue serves as the Co-Chair of the Executive Board of the Secular Coalition for Colorado. Ben was brought up in an extremely conservative Catholic family, and remained practicing Catholic until the age of 25. At one point he even considered the priesthood. A few years ago things took a turn, and Ben began to educate himself on secular issues. While he has been an adamant supporter of secularism, working with the SCA will be his first foray into working with a secular organization. “This is something I am too passionate about to simply stand on the sidelines and watch,” he said. In addition to educating himself on secular issues, Ben considers himself to be self-taught in other areas as well. After graduating from high school, he used his natural abilities as a people person, and desire to learn and turned that into a career in tech support.
