Endorsing Organizations

The organizations below have extended their support by endorsing the mission of the Secular Coalition for America. Endorsing organizations are autonomous groups of diverse structure with no legal connection to the Coalition. Endorsement of our mission, while an acknowledgement of common purpose, does not necessarily signify agreement with, or participation in, specific statements or activities of the Coalition. The Coalition's member organizations are committed to fostering a culture of cooperation which is respectful of each organization's unique role within the freethought community. Anti-Discrimination Support Network, a committee of the Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia which receives, evaluates, and responds to reports of negative stereotyping of the Atheist/Humanist community

Arizona Coalition of Reason (ArizonaCoR), a group of like-minded member organizations from throughout Arizona that share a worldview grounded in reason over superstition, and scientific truth over revealed truth

Association of Humanistic Rabbis, committed to the values and teachings of Humanistic Judaism, a human-centered approach to Jewish life and culture

Atheist Nexus, a community for Atheists, Agnostics, Brights, Freethinkers, Humanists & Skeptics.

Brights Action SCA, a special initiative group (SIG) of The Brights' Net, promoting the full and equitable civic participation of persons whose worldview is naturalistic (free of supernatural and mystical elements)

Center for Atheism, established by New York City Atheists as a separate and independent national organization to propose, develop and be a catalyst for new national activities supporting the objectives of atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers, skeptics, secularists and separation-of-church/state advocates

Center for Naturalism, devoted to increasing public awareness of naturalism and its implications for social and personal well-being

Congress of Secular Jewish Organizations, a coalition of independent organizations whose unity of purpose is a secular expression of Jewish heritage

EARTHWARD (Earth's Atheist Resistance To Holy Wars and Religious Devastation), an atheist-run charity for helping victims of religiously motivated violence

Foundation Beyond Belief is a charitable and educational foundation created to focus, encourage and demonstrate the generosity and compassion of atheists and humanists, and to provide support and encouragement for nontheistic parents

Freethought Action, using traditional marketing and the internet to encourage secular Americans to speak up

GALAH (Gay And Lesbian Atheists and Humanists), an educational and activist community for gay, lesbian, transgender, and bisexual freethinkers

Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard, dedicated to building, educating, and nurturing a diverse community of Humanists, agnostics, atheists, and the non-religious at Harvard and beyond

Humanist Institute, a leadership training program created by the North American Committee for Humanism

Humanist Society, an adjunct of the American Humanist Association, which certifies qualified members to serve as Humanist celebrants

Humanists of Florida, an association of Florida individuals and groups that affirm the Humanist worldview

TheInfidels.org, a home on the Internet, including an informative Web site and a lively full-featured forum, for positive Humanists, Atheists, Agnostics, Freethinkers, and others of like mind

South Carolina Progressive Network, a multi-issue, multicultural, nonprofit venture created to strengthen progressive alliances, to promote voter education and participation, and to support grassroots groups and projects across the state of South Carolina

Stiefel Freethought Foundation works to gain respect for freethinkers and ensure the complete separation of church and state, striving to promote the humanist values of love, integrity, reason and freedom. 

Unitarian Universalist Infidels, who define and assert the role of atheists, agnostics, skeptics, freethinkers, and secular humanists within the Unitarian Universalist Association

United Coalition of Reason (UnitedCoR), a national organization that works to raise the visibility of local groups in the community of reason

Washington Area Secular Humanists (WASH) promotes scientific literacy and critical thinking, provides a forum for humanists and others to explore humanist principles and how they relate to all aspects of human experience, and studies the significance of humanism throughout history.
