SCA Proudly Announces 2011 Summer Intern: Cate Laskovics

The Secular Coalition for America is very proud and excited to announce that Catherine Laskovics has been named the recipient of our 2011 summer internship program.

Cate is a past president of the Secular Alliance at the University of Pittsburgh and the author of the “Young Atheist” blog, where she writes about secular topics from her own personal perspective. Cate has demonstrated a true passion for nontheistic issues, as well as a commitment toward advancing SCA’s vision of a secular America. Our staff is very much looking forward to working with her this summer.

As part of the internship program, Cate will spend the summer in Washington, D.C., working alongside SCA staff to help implement our lobbying and communications strategy, among other tasks.
